Downtown Adel Main Street
Downtown Adel is a dynamic and inviting destination that meshes the historic with the present, architecturally and aesthetically. It welcomes both locals and visitors to work, shop, dine and play in a clean, landscaped, charming, and tech-friendly environment. The downtown district is accessible through redeveloped corridors and gateways from I-75 along Georgia Grown Trail 37 and Georgia Grown 41.
Public-private investments and partnerships foster entrepreneurship, repair or eliminate dilapidated buildings, restore and re purpose historic buildings, and create greenspace, adding character and identity to the downtown area. Residents and visitors enjoy an interesting variety of thriving businesses, busy shops, enticing restaurants and unique attractions along safe, well-lit streets and sidewalks, with easy access to ample, convenient parking. |
The Downtown Development Authority of Adel will actively promote the heart of our community by creating welcoming and aesthetically pleasing corridors and gateways of GA Grown Trails Hwy 37 and 41; by engaging public-private partnerships and incentives to drive development and redevelopment in the downtown area; by supporting facade and overall property improvements to include lighting, parking and landscaping; and through marketing the area as a destination place to work, shop, dine and play.
