UTILITY BILL RELIEF PROGRAMS
Area Agency on Aging: The Area Agency on Aging will be available at the city hall on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from the hours on 9:00am - 1:00pm to accept applications for their Utilities Assistance Program. The account holder for the utilities must be as least 60 years of age and meet certain income requirements to be eligible for the program. Along with the application, applicants will be required to submit a copy of their utility bill and proof of identification. Notice & Application
Coastal Plain Area, EOA: The Coastal Plain Area Economic Opportunity Authority will begin accepting appointment calls for the Low Income Housing Energy Assistance Program for CITIZENS AGED 65 AND OLDER and homebound starting at 5am on November 1, 2022 and for the GENERAL POPULATION starting at 5am on Thursday, December 1, 2022.
